Both computers in the in ‘Time Date’ window hav a check mark in the section to set date and time automatically. I’m worried my older 2004 eMac OS X version 10.3.9 is not ready for the new date for daylight savings time.

Use the USB that came with the phone or a card reader.
After that:
-Grab the pictures that you want and drop them in the microsd (from your phone) folder DCIM.
They are offering the white version much cheaper and stuff but i’m just wondering really is the the same or what? Obviously it’s not aluminium, is it worth forking out more money for the aluminium version?
Thanks!
One advantage to the aluminum Macbook is that it has a Multi-Touch trackpad, so that you don’t have to move the cursor and then switch to a separate button to click on it. That’s one reason that I’m going with the aluminum one over the white one.

I have this mac lying around and no have no CRT or LCD monitor to play it through and am refusing to buy a new one for it as its prob only worth a couple of quid!
I have VGA to scart cable & VGA to HDMI but they don’t work! Any ideas from you clever people?
I’m not sure I understand your question correctly, but if you are mostly interested in the audio, then simply connect the Mac’s "audio out" to one of the HDTVs "audio inputs". If you are interested in the video, you will need one of the digital video cables. Good luck and hope this helps.
I have an aluminum 15 inch Powerbook G4 1Ghz, 768 Mb ram, 80 GB hard drive, os 10.4, combo drive, 4 batteries (2 of which are at 100%, 1 at 85%), a radtech sleeve, apple mouse, power adapter and all other cables included with it. How much would that probably sell for on ebay. It is in very good condition with no scratches or dead pixels or anything.
I would sell it on ebay. Start the bidding at $ 300.00. Charge only $25.00-$35.00 shipping. Run the ad for 7 days and time it so it ends around 7:00PM Pacific time. Don’t put in a reserve and document the notebook well. Offer a DOA or 30 day money back warranty. You should get $750.00 on the low side and $950.00 on the high side.
Hi i have leopard os x server and was wondering if i could install it on my Powerbook G4 which has 1gb ram and 1.63ghz processor? At the moment it has tiger installed, i personally hate tiger and was thinking of installing os x leopard server. Will this work?
Sam x
Yes. Minimum System Requirements:
* • Mac server or desktop computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
* • 1GB of RAM
* • 20GB of available disk space
but why? The Server version has features for administering email and network for a business. Is that what you want to do? You say you already have Server. Then install it, but it will waste a lot of hard drive space for things you will probably never need.
If you hate Tiger, what seems so different to you about Leopard? Maybe you haven’t made a side-by-side comparison. They are more alike than different. There is a definite trend toward more glitz and sparkle in operating systems but not much real change in function. Nothing about Leopard takes my breath away, but I like Cover Flow and Quick Look. You see, even I am falling for glamour instead of grit.
Right now almost everyone knows that windows 7 is going to come out on October 22nd. But when will the Laptops come with it integrated?
So far I’ve seen that most computer brands offer you the opportunity to upgrade your vista but since I’m planning to buy a new one it don’t mind waiting until they come with it already installed.
Windows 7 will be preloaded onto computers on October 22nd. For more Windows 7 information head to http://www.windows.ca

I’ve recently recieved a new laptop from work. I work from home sometimes and need to connect to the internet. My laptop shows that I’m connected to the internet, however I can’t get any pages to download. I’ve disabled the firewalls on the computers, but to no avail. My old laptop, I just plugged in wireless card and it connected fine. With the new Laptop, It won’t. What am i missing? Thanks!
Your company may be using a proxy server, so for you to be able to connect to internet pages from home (once connected to your wireless) you need to turn off the proxy.
Go to internet explorer, Tools>>Internet Options>>Connections tab>>Lan Settings and unselect the proxy.
For you to be able to connect to your works network you may need to use a VPN to connect to the network and after that you can connect to the internet too, using the proxy server (so the box needs to be checked this time). You will need to get the VPN software from your company.
Hope this helps.
Hey, I have an Ibook g4 and a Phillips 42" HDTV (the kind with ambilight) and i wanna use the tv as a monitor for the computer to play movies and others things. The iBook came with a converter which i can use to hook it up to other monitors but i don’t know if this is helpful at all when it comes to the tv as it isn’t meant to be used as a monitor. Are there some cables i can buy or something?
Thanks
From what I can tell, the input you will want to use on your TV will be the HDMI. You should be able to use your converter that you have with a DVI to HDMI or VGA to HDMI cable. I’m not sure whether your converter has DVI or VGA.
