there is a way to …
there is a way to boot to 64 bit without holding down 6 & 4 but it wont let me post the strings

actually by default …
actually by default in snow leopard you are running 32 bit. Before you boot up (before the apple logo) hold the “6″ and “4″ buttons together during boot up. Then you will be in 64 bit. nice video to say the least.
