i want to get my first mac and i love the powermac g4 quicksilver. That is all I can buy at the moment so I want to know if I can put the latest version of mac os x. If someone can give me a answer I would love that.

The Apple PowerMac G4 Quicksilver, DOES support the latest OS,(Leopard 10.5).

Just make sure your G4 meets these requirements:

~PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
~ 512MB of memory
~DVD drive for installation
~9GB of available disk space

  1. Soccer Boi Says:

it would depend on the clock speed of the g4 processor in it, the amount of memory, and how much disk space it has. Leopard needs at least 600 MHz cpu, and at least 512 mb of memory.
