It’s an install disc that I’ve found won’t work with my eMac. However, when I boot the computer, it boots from that disc, and gets stuck. I can’t get it to eject the disc because it’s always trying to use it, but I don’t know how to get it out so it will stop trying to boot that way. Any suggestions? I don’t want to have to take apart half my computer :-/

I don’t believe so, if you could then the video conversation would be really slow. If i were you I would upgrade you Mac because that is pretty old (no offense) and it probably isn’t covered by a warranty anymore. You could even sell it on Ebay for some cash to buy a new one.

You can get it to install, but it runs like garbage.
I installed 10.5 on 3 eMacs and then took them all back to 10.3 because they were nearly unusable.

My mac sometimes plays this weird, repetitive jazz music, even if I have no applications open. I’ve recently been downloading some applications from the Web (which I know is not the smartest thing to be doing), and I’m afraid that I’ve accidentally installed something I wasn’t supposed to. I don’t think it’s radio interference because it plays through my external speakers as well as through my mac’s built-in ones. Please if someone can help, I’d really appreciate it.
It could be a web site you are visiting. Another option would be to trash all the dodgy stuff (people wonder why? they get viruses…)
and see if it still plays. What is it that you are normally doing when the music starts playing?
You can also click on Command + Tab which will show you what applications you are running
Normally iTunes has to be open for music to play, or you have got music set to play on a certain keyboard command.
