What would work better for a college student ibook g3 or Toshiba Satellite Ac15?

What would work better for a college student ibook g3 (600mhz 60gb 640mb ram) or Toshiba Satellite Ac15?

Windows. If you really want to run Mac then go for FreeBSD, same shit, and it is free.

No need in paying for a less secure linux machine. That’s stupid. That’s Mac.

My Ibook won’t start after software update unexpected shut down?

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

I was doing a software update and my computer died during it. I’ll turn the ibook on, everything will boot up, but it gets stuck on the apple logo screen where it has the loading icon. What do I do?

I have had this problem before too. I have turned my mac off. Left it alone for a couple of minutes then started it back up, sometimes it has taken 10 minutes to catch. If that does not work, then start it up from the install CD by holding the C key down when it starts, then go under the file menu and use the disk utility to repair permissions, verify disc etc.
