Do you trust online storage/backup?

Thursday, April 21st, 2011

I was thinking of backing up some of my files to an online storage site but I wasn’t sure if I should or not. Has anyone had problems with online storage or backup? Would you recommend it? Would YOU do it?

I think there is a place for it, especially in case of a house fire, having Online Storage can also be beneficial – I personally just backup all my files on an extra hard drive, Most of my important files are pictures I have taken, which takes up about 10GB of space. I do use both though.

I was thinking of backing up some of my files to an online storage site (ADrive) but I wasn’t sure if I should or not. Has anyone had problems with online storage or backup? Would you recommend it? Would YOU do it?

I personally just backup all my files on an extra hard drive, if it’s really important, I back it up on two. I think there is a place for it, especially in case of a house fire, but other than that, I personally wouldn’t really use them. Most of my important files are pictures I have taken, which takes up about 10GB of space. Uploading and downloading these would take too much time compared to copying them onto another drive.

I wouldn’t trust free online storage, unless you keep a backup of the files.

Can you put leopard on a powermac g4 quicksilver?

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

i want to get my first mac and i love the powermac g4 quicksilver. That is all I can buy at the moment so I want to know if I can put the latest version of mac os x. If someone can give me a answer I would love that.

The Apple PowerMac G4 Quicksilver, DOES support the latest OS,(Leopard 10.5).

Just make sure your G4 meets these requirements:

~PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
~ 512MB of memory
~DVD drive for installation
~9GB of available disk space
