Can u convert a HDMI signal to VGA and RCA Audio (red and white)?
Running a projector for my home theater and want hd. So i am trying to use the VGA connection (the projector only has s-video, vga, and RCA (Y,R,W) connections.

Would something like this help, if i ran a HDMI-DVI, Then use the thing above and a DVi-VGA adapter for the final??

Check the projector manual to see if the VGA port on your projector will accept a component video signal. Component video can go up to 1080p HD in some situations (it will depend on the projector). You would use a component to VGA adapter like this: http://www.amazon.com/Female-Double-Shielded-Component-Adaptor-Computer/dp/B000I21Y9G .
DVI and HDMI are digital video signals, so they can’t be converted to VGA or Component video (which are analog video signals) with just a cable.
