I received a iMAC G3 computer, when I got home, I plugged it in and tunred it on. Then when it was on, I unplugged it from the outlet. NOW, it wont turn on at all. When the power cord is connected to the pc and the outlet, I do hear a soft noise coming from the computer, when I unplug the cord, the sound goes away. WTF is wrong with this thing? Any ideas?
Pulling the plug to turn off a Mac is not recommended as you have seen the result of what might and did happen. That being said, try the troubleshooting steps found here.

Is the Computer is SLEEP Mode(i.e. No Picture)
If you can open the CD tray, try inserting the Disc that came with it-You can perform a Clean Install of all Operating Systems and Software.
If none of this works-you need to consult Apple support Line or take it back to the Supplier!
