not really, for years the Mach-O ABI was optimized for CISC and not RISC which from 1994-2006 was the architecture macs ran on. This was a huge oversight by apple. This should have been fixed with Rhapsody but apple didn’t fix it.

UNIX can freeze, …
UNIX can freeze, and software can lock up, and UNIX can have viruses programmed for it. All these are fabrications. Mac maintains a monopoly over the hardware that goes into their system, and they make sure it is built around giving the best performance to their OS.

not to correct or anything, but UNIX can’t freeze (Mac is a UNIX OS). if it’s freezing, you’ll need to repair the hardware— it’s typically a logic board or something. =/
