I recently acquired a Powermac G4 (Sawtooth) from a friend. I purchased a few parts, and upgraded the machine to Tiger because it originally ran OS 9. Thanks for watching.
Specs now:

Powermac G4 Upgrade
G4 Power Mac tower, can I upgrade the AGP graphics?
I recently bought a dual core 533 mhz G4 PowerMac tower and it has AGP for graphics and I was wondering if the graphics card were upgradagle in those type of computers?
I should have been more clear, I was wondering if I can upgrade the current AGP graphics card to a better AGP graphics card.
if your asking if you can upgrade it to a PCI-E no well not without replacing the motherboard which basically would be upgrading it but you might need a new CPU but i don’t know much about MACs but i do know you can’t change the adapter slots

I have a 466 MHz PowerMac G4, not bad, upgrade the ram in that sucker and it flies, but don’t expect to be video editing, watching HD, etc.. on it. Other than that though, it’s a great machine!

Lol.. mate, Im an apple fanboy, and Ive never owned a pc in my life. I have an apple mac classic, performa, g3, g4 ibook, and macbook. I hate windows, and I just simply misread. I thought it was impossible to have 2 GB of ram in a monitor, so if I had read smart I would think they are geniuses IE smart.. seems like you cant take the compliment to apple as a compliment, since you gave me an idiotic reply and thumbs down.

Sorry you could not …
Sorry you could not follow along, but only my first sentence related to the monitor the rest was on the specs on the mac.
This is why pc users should not comment on mac products.
2Hamsterz, please try out a mac and then you will be able to make an intelligent comment on them.

Please do not get …
Please do not get rid of the 21″ studio monitor. I have the 17″ one and it is hard to find the 21″. You can take out the zip drive and run an extra hard drive there. Mac tracker states you can put 2 gb of ram in it. Unless you get a sata to ide converter you are limited to 128 for hd space. The converter chip you can get at newegg or owc allows you to use more then the 128 limit. Great video and great machine.
