Was looking into the Western Digital WDH1Q10000N MyBook Studio 1TB External Hard Drive – 7200, 8MB, USB 2.0, FireWire 800, eSATA but read quite a few negative reviews. Speed is important! So looking at Firewire.

I would recommend a LaCie product. They are both cheep and fairly good quality.
