Is silicone sealant good for repairing a chair made of resin?

My patio chair leg broke and it’s made out of resin. If I try to repair it with silicon sealant will it be strong enough to hold a 200 pound person? If not what do you recommend I use to repair it?

I agree with alfa. Silicone is a poor adhesive and has allot of stretch. for the cost of glue verses replacing the chair, I’d replace.
