hey guys i cant find an apple ibook g4 for under 400…i have looked but i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get one or has one for sale.

eBay has iBooks G4 that start from $300.

help with emac computer!
I have an eMac (first version). Help!?

I have an eMac (the 1st version). (The one that came out on 29 April 2002.) I have some old CD-ROMs and are compatible with Macs. When I try to play them, it says to install Classic. I try to install it, but when it is done installing, it still does not work! So, is there something wrong in which I installed or with my eMac (maybe because these were originally for schools). Also, can you play DVDs on this computer? I have version 10.3.9.

well for one, it depends on the version of classic, it should be 9.2
second is it depends on if the cd drive is a combo or super drive
check system profiler via the apple menu under “about this mac” then click on more info, it will give you the info on the computer.

EMac Laptop Computers
i need help in choosing a computer?

ok i have a bit of a delema, christmas is coming soon and my mom told me she would buy me a eMac off of ebay ( i love macs and i asked) but here i am- i have a imac g3, compaq presario from like 1999 and a custom desctop pc thats slow and has major cosmetic isues (nasty white plastic turned yellow som cracks, not the best to be proud of) and so i need a lap top and a gaming machine and yes i MUST have a mac, but what to do?
bottom line:
-I am a media type person
burning dvd’s cd’s
watching movies
play games (sims 2, gta san andreas)
internet (bigtime! i am always on myspace, youtube, pplaylist, ect.)
school work (ms word. excel, etc.)
i also like to make websites

The games you play don’t require a highend gaming laptop I would just pick out a simple multimedia laptop that has vista on it from Best Buy or other computer stores..
