iBook G3 (dual USB
iBook G3 & iMac g3????????

Ok, I really want my own computer. I don’t really do much on the computer just internet and thats about it. I like to blog and watch youtube a lot. Sooo, I was thinking about buying a refurbished imac g3 or ibook g3 2nd gen. I like to be mobile so I was thinking the Ibook g3 and i know that these are quite outdated and won’t run leopard. Which is fine with me. But I have see that the 2nd generation ibook g3 or dual usb has logic board issues. So what should I get I really like the ibook but I don’t want the logic board to die right after I buy it.

Whats your budget? You are aware how expensive Apple is, right?
My Ibook G4 is the best computer I have ever had. My iMac is not as good. I would definitely go with the iBook.

Power Mac G3 Introduction

Used the Mini VGA Video out via an RCA/S-Video adapter plugged to an Easycap Video Capture USB adapter which was connected to my iMac. I had to run Windows in order to use the Easycap DC60 adapter. The RCA/S-Video adapter for my Ibook outputs $h!**y video quality and I still need to work out the settings. But i couldn’t get better than this from the iBook.

Stay tuned as I will upload gameplay of PS1, PS2, and possibly Sega Genesis games in the future.

Powermac G4 Upgrade
G4 Power Mac tower, can I upgrade the AGP graphics?

I recently bought a dual core 533 mhz G4 PowerMac tower and it has AGP for graphics and I was wondering if the graphics card were upgradagle in those type of computers?
I should have been more clear, I was wondering if I can upgrade the current AGP graphics card to a better AGP graphics card.

if your asking if you can upgrade it to a PCI-E no well not without replacing the motherboard which basically would be upgrading it but you might need a new CPU but i don’t know much about MACs but i do know you can’t change the adapter slots

My ibook g3 clamshell
I got this about four years ago on ebay for about £350. It did not come with an airport card. Which I may buy. I haven’t used this comeputer since I got my Dell laptop about 2 years ago. As the screen broke on the pc. I have had to use it as a desktop and I’m using the Ibook as my main computer. I am updating it so I can use it for my college course in september. I will be getting mac mini for a desktop and a macbook for xmas yay lol

Why does my ibook g3 battery die after i unplug the Laptop?

Well i just got a used ibook g3 (800 mhz) (30gig.) from ebay ang i plug it in with a new power adaptor and it works great, but when i unplug the adaptor it says it has 100% battery power but it shortly dies afterward. please help me!!!

Definitely a dead/weak battery. A new battery will solve the issue. good luck.

Im really happy with this, iv always had the Quicksilver as my favourite powermac
I Don’t know what much else to say here, I like this quite a bit

The screen im buying is properly going to be a Dell 17 inch of eBay, for around £60.
